Back in 1998 Conrad launched his first online store as one of the first web pioneers. We made it over the .com hype. Currently we’re at place 11 of all German retail stores. And an important partner for B2B customers. As many retailers we’re now in a transformation from a classical retailer towards a platform which focus on B2B customers. To achieve both transformation and a high demand of scalability in terms of products, integration etc. it’s key to have a framework which can handle all this. This framework consists of organizational and technical approaches and of course of a modular and flexible architecture. In this talk I will tell you the story, share some insights and learnings of our journey and a quick outlook which challenges are in front of us :-)

While Continuous Integration (CI) and oftentimes also Continuous Delivery (CD) have become a part of commonly used build pipelines, monitoring and observability is still often an afterthought or manually configured.
